The shop is proud to announce the official 2013 season of our HangOver Shave Sunday events. On the dates above a flat $30 gets ya a haircut OR hot towel straight razor shave, world famous MAN-B-QUE burger cooked right outside the shop, a ice cold Half Acre tall boy, and a cup of fresh Italian Ice from Miko’s ! The official event dates are: 5/19 – 6/30 – 7/28 – 8/25 – 9/29. All events are cash only, 1st come 1st served, and run 10am – 2pm.

On Sunday 3/24/13 a few brave souls went under the cold edge of the straight razor and removed their current facial hair situation to embark on a 365 day journey of man-lee-ness, soul searching, inner peace, beard-dom, and utterly for one man the title of Chicago’s Best Beard in the shop’s 1st annual GREAT CHICAGO BEARD-OFF.  Monthly updates of contestants progress/growth will be posted on the links below so make sure to follow one or the other to stay in the know. Then fast forward a year to the event wrap-up party where YOU will help pick Chicago’s best beard…

The shop is proud to be a part of Travel Channel’s new show “All Forked Up”. The new show airing June 1st 2013 features show hosts Al Mancini & John doing what they do best, arguing about food. Look for the Chicago episode with Joe Sr & Jr. of the shop giving the hosts hot lather straight razor shaves to air sometime this coming Spring , stay tuned !
