2018 = 50 years in business !

Way back in 1968 Joe Caccavella Sr. opened the doors to his little 2 chair Barbershop in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. The 21 year old had just returned from Vietnam and was just about to get married and start a family. Fast forward to 2018 and the now 71 year old Joe Sr. opens the doors to the current / expanded shop that he has called home for 50 years ! Joe Sr and I (Joe Jr.) thank you for all of your business and support for the past 50 years and look forward to another 50+ more. Look for allot of cool things out of our shop this year, along with our 50th Anniversary Party sometime this coming Spring (stay tuned for the official date and location soon).

Half Fast Chicago

Half Fast Chicago was established in the fall of 2007. The three founding members wanted to form a solid/tight knit group of friends who are more interested in putting miles on their rides rather than just talking about them while they sit in the garage. It doesn’t matter if you have a vintage scooter, a stock Harley, a classic 60’s muscle car, the sickest Cafe bike, a jockey shifted bobber, a 9 sec race car, or the longest store bought chopper! All that matters is that you are a stand up guy or gal who can be trusted, and actually ride/drive what you have.  Check out their new website @
